happy friday vintage fabric giveaway!
just finished STUFFING a medium flat rate box full vintage fabric swatches and pieces left over from my limited edition skirts , including some pieces of the highly coveted lion fabric! that’s almost 4 pounds of fabric!
great for all sorts of crafty projects. if you would like them for patchwork or what-have-you (there are a lot of decent sized pieces for larger projects), leave a comment telling me what you would make with them, and i’ll randomly pick a recipient a week from now and send you a medium flat rate mailing box (that’s 11″ x 8.5″ x 5.5″) stuffed to the gills with fun fabric pieces!

I’d use the smaller pieces for quilting and try to use the bigger pieces for appliqué and also for embroidery. This giveaway is very generous of you!

I love scraps! Especially vintage scraps! I would use them in many of my patchwork projects. In zipper pouches, scrappy quilts, ive been thinking of making curtain valences too.

I love to sew for charity: clothes and accessories — I have been wanting to try my hand at a simple quilt and these would be an inspiration for that.

I really want to make a scrappy lone star quilt, and just got a bunch of vintage fabrics from my grandmother (they’ve been sitting in her attic for years :D) so these would add to that stash nicely.

I think they would make lovely bags, totes, wrislets, wallets and maybe I’d use some to accent a blue jean vest. Looks like a great surprise bundle.

What a fantastic giveaway. I made a quilt from scraps my grandmother gave me years ago, from clothing she used to make and your giveaway reminds me of her! As for what I would do with these fabrics…well I love to make tote bags and purselets so that would be the first on my “to-do” list.

I would use them along with the other vintage fabrics I’ve squirreled away to make my daughter a “couch cuddle blankie”! She lives about 2000 miles away and would love something to curl up with especially made with her mama’s love :)

I am finally going to have a baby after 4 years of trying and 2 years of having given up (6 total years) – total surprise. I thought I would never make a quilt for my own child but now I am…a postage stamp scrap quilt. I’m sure I’d use at least some of it for that. :)

Yea, nifty! I’m a scrap happy person…I save every little bit, but most of mine aren’t even vintage so these would be really special to sew with. I make all kinds of things, pin cushions, totes, doll clothes, doll quilts, collages..so I could use these for all of the above. Thank you for offering this giveaway!
