house purses
i’m still a little obsessed with the Cutest Handbag in the World. i really want a cuckoo clock purse. i was thinking i could make one out of an old wooden house purse, and i started looking at the endless array of house purse options on ebay…
i think i’m going to get one and paint it up real cute like one of the little cuckoo clocks from my collection, and maybe even put a working clock in it!
also, i’ve been hard at work on some dresses which i am very excited about (and should be available soon), along with a few new skirts coming up in the next few weeks…stay tuned!

Oooooh, I am so excited! I have been waiting weeks to see what your new dresses will look like. And I’m sure the purse will be absolutely adorable.

some lucky person scored the purse on the top left for about 7 bucks! the interior was so cute, it was lined in patchwork fabric. i guess it’s true, you snooze you lose! i ended up getting a barn shaped one, it reminded me of my cuckoo cabin so i am going to decorate it accordingly…eventually…

I love the one with yarn and plastic canvas sheets! I always think of you when I see stuff like this at flea markets. If I ever saw something like the “cutest handbag in the world” I would of course pick it up and send it over.
P.S. You can never have to much giant purple ric-rack.

Hey, what about Enid Collins purses? I’m sure you’ve heard of them. They’re also really unique and, of course, vintage! Lots of sparkles, faux precious gems, sequins and colorful paint! I did a post on them, so if you haven’t heard of Enid Collins, check out my site.
