tees, part 2
i finally decided on a new tee style…
it’s a cotton/rayon/poly blend heathered tee. i’ve been wearing around the color combos that didn’t make it onto my website and i have to say they’re super soft and comfy, form-fitting, a little slinky even, but not tight. the neckline is a little lower and loser than the other tee styles. i like it.
the scherenschnitte tee is printed with non-opaque white so it looks tonal and it allows the heather pattern to show through a little. i like the lighter color on the darker tee.
(i have a few of the ringer tees left, they’re still on my website here and here.)
and now my question to you: do you think color names like pine, coal, stone and bark are better or worse than plain ol’ green, black, grey and brown? i like a little color name flair, but sometimes i think when i’m ordering something online it’s better to keep it plain and simple. but then, the heather tees really do look like bark and stone! what do you think?

I will always err on the of a name that gives more context.
sometimes I wish I could name crayons for a living.

I love the names like coal and bark. Sounds naturey and it IS the color the shirts are. I sure dig the new combos. I’ll have to get one. :)

I like pine, coal, stone and bark because they’re more specific.

I like your suggestions, green etc doesn’t tell me what type of green it actually is and I only like some types of green if I am being honest!

I like the more detailed color descriptions! I think it works in this case, and besides, you take such great product photos that people will be able to see the colors really clearly, and appreciate the more fun names you give them :)

As long as it is not misleading, it´s just fine and I agree it gives more flair.
