polish pottery mittens
i was just looking around on etsy and came across this great pattern for polish pottery mittens!
(photo is from SpillyJane Knits)
i guess i don’t need to mention how cute a pair of these would look with my polish pottery skirt! it might just be the thing that makes me take up knitting, although i think they’re a little (a lot!) too ambitious for a first try.

Nice pattern! But in a totally unrelated subject, I couldn´t help but point you out to some mushrooms (I know you love them) I saw on a french website: a wedding gift from all the friends of the happy one who likes mushrooms just as much as you do.

To see these mittens makes me smile. My granny made me mittens like these, but to see them with polish print is just great! Wish I were a better knitter.

those mittens are beyond adorable. i’ve just favorite-d a bunch of her patterns – thanks for the link! yes, they would go so well with your super cute pottery skirts.
o, and i think you could do these. perhaps you could make a pair of plain ones first then try the fair isle?

Perhaps one of your customers who is also a knitter could make them for you in trade for a skirt that she wants…. hmmmm????

ooh! that’s a good idea! i took the easy way out and ended up sending the pattern to my mother to make for me instead of learning myself.
