apple pickin’ apron
while i was digging through my drawer of tea towels a while ago to find one for my tea towel rug, i found this cute apron which i’d totally forgotten about. i don’t even remember where i picked it up, but i was glad to find it. it looks really cute on…
then i noticed it has buttons on the sides, i thought maybe you buttoned it up on the sides to carry your freshly picked veggies in from the garden…
then i discovered it’s actually an apron bonnet!
oh wait, i think i have it on inside out…
here’s an old-timey apron bonnet pattern to make one yourself! what will they think of next?

Totally adorable as usual. We just got back from Holland and (strange as it is since I don’t know you) I thought of you quite often. I’ve declared Holland to have the best souvenirs in Europe.

I think I’m having apple induced skirt and apron (and bonnet if I must) cravings. So I’ll just bite hard into an apple and I may get through them.

I’ve been meaning to make one of those apron/bonnets for ages. Now that I’ve seen yours in action, I really DO have to make one!

I love the idea of turning the pocket so the apple fabric is inside. one of the things I could never understand is why you’d want an apron bonnet, I figured if you wore it once as an apron you’d get food in your hair when you wore it as a bonnet. Maybe you’ve hit upon the solution!! LOL

Wrong, but right at once…it’s all three! :) I love your work! I’m still saving money so I can make some purchases!
