i found this leather box at the thrift store yesterday while i was out running errands… i don’t know where it’s from, but it reminded me of these croatian appliques i’ve been meaning to show you. i love them! (pictures are from the book ‘Yugoslavia/Croatian Folk Embroidery Designs and Techniques’)
