huh?

this is officially the weirdest themed fabric i ever found at a thrift store.

and the fact that’s a a knit makes it even more odd for some reason. what would you make out of it?

i might postpone my website update til next week, i just got a bright idea for a couple of other things i’d like to add, but i have to whip them up first. also i’m adding a bunch of new pictures to my ‘happy customers’ pages, if you have a picture you’d like to send me, please do! and for those of you that have kindly sent me pictures in the past year, thank you! they’ll be up soon!

    I see swimming trunks :D
    No, honestly, that is strange.

that is crazy! I had some with helicopters on it. I’m thinking a big ole girly skirt. :)

I’m gonna say that’s a gung-ho US Marine Corps theme fabric. “From the halls of Montezuma, to the shores of Tripoli” (and my, isn’t that weirdly relevant?)… etc. Weird that it’s a knit, indeed. I wonder what it was intended for– home made GI Joe gear (that’s Army, isn’t it?)? Rambo-themed home sewing?

How about something for a Marine?? From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli….Marine Corps Song.

the marines theme was my first thought too. the selection of the word and tanks and red star seem so random for a fabric design.

I just scored some purple double knit with penguins on it and thought about this post. :)

nice, lisa!! i have some pink kitty cat knit i should send you, i’ve had it forever and i don’t think i’m going to use it. between that and purple penguins you could whip up quite an ensemble!

    think its montezuma’s revenge…
car seat fabric for a tank? or one of those
tanks they sell for rich people?

being and interlock knit is easier to program designs like that
I’d bet there’s a whole 12 pattern line of the stuff

    Its probably a tank top.

BTW I really love you designs & web site.

other than this bit of war memorabilia
but killing _anyone_ i think is wrong
and a worry when people think its right.
