i love finding grab bags full of vintage sewing goodies at the thrift store. last week i found one full of vintage woven trim (the kind i like to hoard!) and scraps of fabric. this was some of the fabric! doll clothes panels…click the picture to enlarge!
the prints are pretty cute. i wouldn’t mind a couple of these outfits in my size…

anyways, since i’m hoarding the vintage trim, i thought i would give these away to someone who might like to make them. they are for an 11-12″ doll. do you want them?

Yes please!
I think they’d be lovely framed or would be fun to make into bags of some sort.
i would love to sew some doll clothes for my daughter ! that’s very generous of you !
Yes please!!! They are just gorgeous!
I would love to make these. Too cute!!! They’d be cool framed as-is as well!
these are too cute! i found a similar lot in a thrift store bin as well. i made some pouches and coasters out of them.

i’ll take them if you don’t want them. paypal me an invoice! unless you’re saving them for someone who will make doll clothes out of them. ;)
I would love them!!
So cute! I’d love to make them up for my daughter’s Tammy dolls!
Yes, I do!! I just had some paper dolls from the ’50s framed and this would make a fantastic companion piece. Fantastic!!
I don’t have a doll to put them on, but they would certainly be fun to make! I’d love to give them a try! And I, too, share share you trim hording tendencies. I always look at estate sales, and if I find any, it gets squirreled away with the rest of my trims.
I would LOVE these for my daughter who is turning 14 and makes her own dolls. This would really help her to plan how to make the clothes which is hard for her at the moment – I knit but don’t really sew so that is hard for me.
I would be happy to pay postage. I’ve put my class blog address so you can see we are ‘real’ people.
Love your work! Often read your blog.
YES!!!!!! I have a vintage doll collection (very casual) and would DIE to have those!!!
Score, I love these! I could totally use them in my next project! Maybe we could trade something? You can see my project here http://liznoonan.wordpress.com click on the “25 Project” tab.
Dear Hannah, If no one else has spoken for these, oh how I would LOVE them… ~Holly :)
Oh those are too cute! I love them, and would love to have them. What would you like in return…kind of a trade? Oh, and please pop ov er to my house for a few questions and a giveaway of a red, white and b lue quilt kit. Thanks, Elaine
YES PLEASE! so adorable. I also would love the last 2 outfits in my size, haha.
They are so pretty, and I love the retro style and colors. I would love to have them.
i’m glad you like them too! i drew names to pick a lucky recipient, they are going to cynthia! i hope you will have fun with them!
Wow, yes, I would love this! I had no idea they printed doll clothes patterns right on the fabric, it’s such a good idea!
What fun patterns, I love the drawings. I collect vintage (human sized) patterns to make and alter for modern sizes… I would love to try to translate these doll sized patterns into real life-sized patterns.
What fun, thanks for sharing. It reminds me I should share more of my stash with others.
(I wear your Schwartzwalder Skirt all the time…My sister bought it for me because I study mushrooms and it’s our last name -Blackwelder- in German).
Thanks,
Tess
oh, hahaha! I missed the last comment announcing the winner :)
Congratulations Cynthia!
Don’t. Tease. Me. These are beyond precious.
I found a couple of these panels at a garage sale in Burbank once. One was for lady dolls and one was for guy dolls. I’ve had them for a few years now and can’t bring myself to cut into them. Wouldn’t it be cool if they sold real live people patterns like that?
Eeks! They arrived in the mail today and are too cute for words. Thank you SO MUCH! :)
Lucky cynthia, I would frame them, too cool to cut up
